Beth Anne began her career as
a singer while still in school in Ottawa. She trained at University of
Toronto, Hart House, and at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic
Arts in England. While in England she performed in pantomime at the
Theatre Royal, York, and played leading roles at the Yvonne Arnaud
Theatre and in the Hampstead Theatre Club production of The
Fantasticks in London. Since her return to Canada she has appeared
with the Neptune Theatre in Halifax. The Georgian Theatre, Theatre Passe
Murailie in Toronto, and the National Arts Centre in Ottawa where she
recently played in Oh What A Lovely War. Beth Anne has also sung in
supper clubs and lounges and has made numerous guest appearances on CBC
television and radio. She is a regular performer on the CBC-TV
children's show Mr. Dressup.
